Brief story

Thirteen years of technical leadership across software, infrastructure work and systems integration. Five years solo, building and running my companies' suites. Catena is what I am best at and what I most enjoy: picking the right tools, knowing how they fail, and operating them end to end on the Catena Suite. Quebec-based; bilingual delivery.

What I bring

  • Tech-selection judgment

    Picking tools is not the commodity part of this work. Knowing which open-source projects are healthy, which will be maintained, and which will silently break in two years -- that is the differentiator.

    I design backwards from the recovery scenarios. Disaster recovery, rollbacks, migration, decommission. The day a thing breaks is not the day to learn how to fix it.

    Standard tier: 4 business hours. Emergency service available. Basic set of "panic buttons" in your server so you can take over in the meantime.

  • Cadence

    Quarterly review call. Monthly summary email of what was bumped, restored, and validated on your suite. Managed backup-restore drills and the report lands in your inbox.

  • In case of unforeseen event

    Nothing in your suite is closed-source or proprietary to me. The whole suite is open-source and portable; another competent IT partner can pick up your suite using the same automation.
